Integrating GoHighLevel (GHL) with mTap and creating events allows for seamless synchronization and enhanced event management. This section details how to connect GHL to mTap, enabling event organizers to streamline workflows and optimize attendee engagement.
What You Can Do:
Integrate GHL with mTap:
- Access Integration Options:
- Navigate to mTap Events on the left-hand menu of your dashboard.
- Select Integration from the options.
- Choose GoHighLevel OAuth Integration and click Connect to Go High Level.
- Connect Your Sub-Account:
- A new window will appear prompting you to select a sub-account.
- Choose the sub-account that you want to connect to mTap Events.
Important: Double authentication is required to connect your CRM successfully.
Create an Event and Customize CRM Settings:
- Select Your CRM:
- During event creation, ensure the CRM field is set to "Go High Level".
- This step is critical for leads to populate in the CRM.

- Integrate GHL with mTap:
- Go to the Integration menu and connect your desired GHL sub-account.
- Create an Event:
- Set your event name, location, and date/time details.
- Ensure the CRM integration option is correctly selected.
- Monitor Lead Flow:
- Verify that leads appear in the CRM within the first hour after event creation.
Step 1: Access the Integration Menu
- Log in to your mTap account.
- Navigate to mTap Events located in the left sidebar of the dashboard.
Click on the Integration option from the menu.
Step 2: Select and Connect GoHighLevel
- Under the Integration menu, select GoHighLevel OAuth Integration.
- Click on Connect to Go High Level.
- A pop-up window will appear prompting you to select a sub-account.
- Choose the desired sub-account to connect with mTap Events.
Note: Double authentication is required during this step.
Step 3: Verify CRM Connection
- Confirm that the selected sub-account is now linked to your mTap account.
- To finalize the connection, ensure that the CRM is selected during the event creation process.
Step 4: Create an Event with CRM Integration
- Navigate back to mTap Events.
- When creating a new event, ensure that the CRM option is set to "Go High Level".
- This step is critical to populate leads in the CRM system.
- Once the CRM is connected, expect a wait time of up to 1 hour for the leads to start appearing in the CRM.
Disconnect GHL from mTap:
Disconnecting GHL from mTap can be done from either the mTap dashboard or the GHL platform. Follow the steps below for each method:
From mTap Dashboard:
- Navigate to mTap Events on the dashboard.
- Go to the Integration section.
- Go to GoHighLevel OAuth Integration.
- Click Disconnect next to the connected sub-account.
- A confirmation prompt will appear; confirm the disconnection.
- Verify that the integration status is updated to "Disconnected."
From GoHighLevel Platform:
- Log in to your GHL account.
- Navigate to the App Marketplace menu.
- Select Installed Apps
- Locate the integration with mTap.
- Click Uninstall
- Confirm the action in the prompt that appears.
Field mapping between mTap and GHL
Upon integration, the mTap app will update the following fields into GHL.
- Contacts
- Name
- Phone Number
- Tags
- Custom Fields
- Event
- Ticket
- Price
- Contact Source
- mTap Event
Important Notes
- Double-check the sub-account selected during integration to avoid miscommunication between mTap and GHL.
- Monitor the lead flow within the first hour to confirm successful synchronization.
