Profiles: 📒The mTap Business ecosystem has two kinds of profiles. Auxiliary profiles and Member profiles. Auxiliary profiles are for abstract entities like departments, events & the company itself. Whereas, team member profiles are for you and your team, the actual human users who will be using this software in the field for networking.
Templates: In mTap Business Pro, a template is a pre-selected & yet customizable list of nested digital media that helps users quickly create brand-consistent, informative & impactful digital profiles that can be shared in ten different ways.
Auxiliary profiles and team member profiles differ in terms of administrative control. For auxiliary profiles, administrators have the ability to not only select which elements appear in the template but also input the specific content for those elements.
In contrast, with team member profiles, administrators are limited to choosing which elements will be present in the profile, but they cannot dictate the content within those elements. The responsibility for populating the content of these elements, such as entering a phone number for messaging apps, providing a LinkedIn profile URL, writing the text for the Bio section, or selecting links for the "custom link" section, falls to the team members themselves. This approach gives team members agency over their personal information while still allowing administrators to maintain a consistent profile structure.
