Profiles:  📒The mTap Business ecosystem has two kinds of profiles. Auxiliary profiles and Team member profiles. Auxiliary profiles are for abstract entities like departments, events & the company itself. Whereas, team member profiles are for you and your team, the actual human users who will be using this software in the field for networking. Both of them have their own ways of template creation, that you can learn about, in our guide here. 

"Company Profile" or “Event Profile”, falling under the category of “Auxillary Profiles” in the mTap ecosystem, is a customizable digital representation of a company or event, designed to showcase its brand identity consistently across all networking interactions. It is meant for sales and marketing teams using mTap Business Pro to facilitate seamless networking and lead management.

Team leaders can use customizable templates to edit and manage the company/event profile. This ensures all digital interactions by team members reflect consistent branding, including logos, colors, and messaging while aligning with the organization's marketing materials. This helps maintain professionalism while streamlining the process of sharing contact information with prospects during networking events and engagements.

 Let’s learn how to build your organization’s profile aka “Company Profile”. 

📒The same instructions are to be followed for the Event profile creation page on their respective event editing page. 

1. Select “Company Profile”, under the “Company” tile, on the (Company name) Dashboard. 

When you are a new user, this editing page may look very oddly deserted. 

This is because though you have created an auxiliary template, you still need to assign it to the department, event, or in this case, the organization itself, i.e. the company. 

2. To assign a template to your company profile, select “Choose Template”.

3. You will be presented with an overlay with a list of templates you have created in the auxiliary profiles section. Select the template and press “Save”. 

In the example above, the template “Test 23 June”, will have been assigned to this “Company profile”, i.e Jessie- in this case.

You will now be editing the company profile’s basic details, which will show up as a header in the company’s mTap profile. 

4. Select “Edit Company Details” on the company teams profile edit page.
5. Fill in the information form and press “Save”.

6. mTap Business Pro membership comes with a vanity URL, which allows you access to our feature where you have the ability to customize your profile’s URL as many times as you want. Select "Get Vanity URL" to input a URL of your choice. The default URL comes with the alphanumeric code assigned to your profile at the time of identification. Press "Update Company Profile URL", to save the updated URL.

7. You can view the profile via. the “View Company Profile” button. Your company profile, tailored to your selections, roughly looks like this:

With the company profile set up, you can now proceed with setting up and/or managing the team members.
