 What You Can Do:

- Check-in guests using a simple search-and-click system on the event dashboard.

- Track guest attendance in real-time, identifying which guests have arrived and which have not.

- Use filters and search options to quickly find specific guests and view only those who have not checked in.

 How to Check-In Guests 

 Method 1: From the Event Dashboard

1. Log in to Your mTap Account and select the event you are managing.

2. Navigate to the “Event Details” Section on the event dashboard.

   - This section provides a comprehensive view of all the guests registered for your event, whether they registered through the landing page, were manually added, or uploaded via a CSV file.

3. Find the Guest You Want to Check In:

   - Scroll through the list of attendees or use the search bar to quickly locate the guest by their name or email address.

4. Click the “Check-In” Button Next to the Guest’s Name:

   - This will immediately mark the guest as “Checked-In” and update their status in real-time on the list.

5. Real-Time Status Updates:

   - As soon as a guest is checked in, their status will update to “Checked-In,” and the dashboard will reflect this change instantly. This allows you to monitor attendance and ensure all key attendees have arrived.

 Method 2: From the “Guests” Tab

1. Log in to Your mTap Account and select the event you are managing.

2. Navigate to the “Guests” Tab on the event homepage.

   - This tab provides an alternative view of your guest list in tile format, making it easier to identify and manage guests.

3. Find the Guest You Want to Check In:

   - Use the search bar at the top to locate a guest by name or email, or apply filters to view specific groups of guests (e.g., not yet checked-in).

4. Click the “Check-In” Option in the Relevant Row:

   - Once you’ve located the guest, click “Check-In” in the corresponding row or tile to mark them as checked-in.

5. Real-Time Status Updates:

   - The guest’s status will automatically update to “Checked-In” on the list, providing a real-time view of who has arrived.

 Additional Features for a Seamless Check-In Process

 1. Use Filters to View Specific Guests

   - You can use the filter option to display only guests who have not yet checked in. This helps manage your attendee flow and ensures that no one is missed during the check-in process.

   - Pro Tip: For VIP guests or speakers, you can create a custom filter to prioritize their check-in process and ensure they receive immediate attention upon arrival.

 2. Ensure Internet Connectivity for Real-Time Updates

   - Ensure that your device is connected to the internet to benefit from real-time updates. This ensures that any changes made to the guest list, such as check-ins, are reflected instantly for all team members managing the event.

 3. Handling Guests Without QR Codes

   - If a guest doesn’t have their QR code or digital ticket, you can still check them in by manually searching for their name or email and clicking the check-in button.

   - After the event starts, you can monitor check-in rates to get an idea of how many attendees have arrived and who is yet to check in. This can help with logistical decisions, such as when to start sessions or notify staff of remaining arrivals.
