This system allows event hosts to ask a variety of questions during ticketing, with options to make them mandatory or optional, ensuring flexibility. The customization options streamline the process of gathering relevant attendee data, which is invaluable for post-event analysis, networking, and marketing purposes. By enabling organizers to tailor the registration process to their needs, mTap Events provides a powerful tool for improving the overall event experience and optimizing revenue generation.
1. Default Attendee Information:
- As a base requirement, mTap automatically sets Name, Phone Number, and Email Address as mandatory fields for all attendees. These essential details ensure the event organizer has direct lines of communication with each participant.
2. Optional and Customizable Information:
Beyond the default fields, mTap offers several optional fields such as:
- Website
- Company Name
- Job Title
- LinkedIn Profile
- Social Media Links
You, as the event organizer, can decide to make any of these fields mandatory, optional, or turned off altogether.
To do this:
- Go to the ticket customization section.
- Select the dropdown menu next to each field (e.g., “Job Title”).
- Choose between Mandatory, Optional, or Off depending on what suits your event’s needs.
3. Adding Custom Questions:
One of the key features of mTap is the Custom Question functionality, allowing you to gather specific data from attendees beyond the preset options.
Click the “Add Question” button to begin.
Select the type of response you want:
- Short Answer: Ideal for brief responses.
- Long Answer: Suitable for more detailed feedback.
- Multiple Choice: Attendees can select one option from several.
- Multiple Select: Attendees can select more than one option.
- Checkbox: Attendees can choose options from a predefined list.
After selecting the question type:
- Input the question in the text field.
- Add answer options (for multiple-choice or checkbox questions).
- Toggle the Required button to make it mandatory.
- Click “Add Question” to save it to your form.
Repeat this process to add as many questions as you need and press “Confirm” once you have finalized your questions.
